The Founders

Scott and Alanna are the founders of GEM. They  were married in 1973 and are the parents of three married children and grandparents to (now) six beautiful grandchildren. Scott founded and served as a pastor/teacher at Church of the Harvest in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, from 1984 until 2012.  Since the late 1990’s Scott and Alanna have been involved in church planting and ministry in the nation of Botswana in southern Africa.  Most recently this has included the establishment of Gabrielle’s House children’s programs and the GEM Ministry Equipping Center – Africa in Mahalapye, Botswana, for the equipping of local saints for the work of the ministry. In addition, in 2010 they assisted in the planting of Life Source Fellowship in Sterling, Massachusetts, and co-founded Christ the Rock Community Church in Mahalapye, Botswana.
