Keemenao Kalankane has been a member of Christ the Rock Community Church since it’s inception in May of 2010, and she has also been a Student in the Global Equipping Ministries Bible School since it was founded in September of 2013. Keemenao is a faithful servant of God, and can always been seen at the Ministry Center in Mahalapye, helping out in any way that she can.
She and her son are also gifted worship leaders, and are invaluable to Pastor’s Tex and Joyce Kiti. Though Keemenao is a woman with a beautifully meek and quiet spirit, she is a mighty prayer warrior, and a fiery preacher. It comes as no surprise that the enemy of our souls would try to attack our beloved sister and co-laborer in the Lord this year.
Keemenao was diagnosed with cancer in her hand, and the doctors wanted to amputate at least one of her fingers this spring. Once again, the Saints at Christ the Rock Community Church were steadfast in their prayers for Keemenao, and in their faith that God would heal her. We were so blessed to find that God had heard and answered prayers, and that Keemenao’s hand was completely healed when we arrived in Botswana – All Glory to the Living God!
Keemenao not only cares for her teenaged son, but also for the two children of her younger sister who had to move to town of Palapye to find work. Keemenao is unemployed, and has no form of income, and has been living on whatever food Pastor Kiti and his wife could spare. With that in mind, and in light of all of her faithful service, we felt led of the Lord to add her to our staff at CRCC. We are not expecting any additional work from Keemenao, as she is already working almost full time for us. We just wanted to acknowledge her service, and to provide her with an income to support her family.
As the work in Botswana is growing, and as our need to increase our staff is growing, so too the need for financial support for this work grows. Your loving help is greatly appreciated, and is accomplishing more than you could ever imagine. May God richly bless each and every one of you!
